It seemed fitting that the first and last passes Jared Goff delivered Sunday, Sept. 14, in the Detroit Lions ’ 52-21 rout of the Chicago Bears were completed to Amon-Ra St. Brown.

After all, the two stars spearheaded the offensive revival that took place inside Ford Field. St. Brown caught nine throws from Goff, including three that produced touchdowns. By the time both players left the field for the final time in the fourth quarter, St. Brown had accumulated 115 receiving yards, contributing to more than a third of Goff’s passing total.
