Dog owners can now get a necklace made as a keepsake - made with their pet's poo. Butternut Box , the fresh dog food brand, has announced the launch of the ‘Poo(ch) Pendant’ – a £9,500 limited edition locket made from 9-carat gold and featuring a preserved poo sample professionally sealed inside each piece, supplied by the recipient's pet.

The initiative comes as Butternut Box launch its new TikTok shop and highlights how a healthy poo indicates proper digestion and nutrient absorption, key indicators of canine health. Actor Jess Impiazzi, who lives with lupus, said: " I’ve long believed in the importance of gut health – both for myself and my dog.
