Interim manager Marentette gets positive review

TRAVERSE CITY — Two months into the job, Traverse City Interim City Manager Benjamin Marentette is getting positive marks from city staff and commissioners.

In responses to a survey from evaluation facilitator Becky Ewing, city staff and commissioners largely praised Marentette’s communication skills, both his ability to listen and to share information honestly and candidly. That’s according to Ewing’s summary of 14 city staff and six commissioners.
