A man was found shot to death in East Pittsburgh on Tuesday night, Allegheny County police said in a release.

First responders arrived to the scene after County 9-1-1 was notified shortly after 10:35 p.m. of a shooting on the 500 block of Ridge Avenue, officials said. They found a man inside a home who had been shot multiple times.

The victim — whose identity was not immediately released — was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the release.

Police did not announce any arrests or identify any suspects, and the investigation is ongoing.
