NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (WTNH) -- A 10-year-old boy was bitten by a dog over the weekend in New Britain, police said.
The incident happened around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday at a home on Carver Street. The boy was not a resident of the home, according to authorities.
Police said the dog is on a 10-day in-home quarantine, and the owners have been cooperating with animal control since the incident.
The boy was taken to an area hospital and is in stable condition, police said.
