To say that I am not a fan of crowded spaces is an understatement. Despite traveling around the world for the better part of 15 years, I still get overwhelmed in hectic cities full of crowds. In Tokyo earlier this year, I ended up spending a day in the museums to get a respite from the hustle and bustle of the major hotspots. Of course, some places are always going to be crowded and busy. Cities like London, New York, Paris, and Rome are always going to be popular with tourists.
