Councillors have condemned the rape of a young girl in the West Midlands. She was allegedly racially abused during the attack in Oldbury.
Police were called to Tame Road just before 8.30am last Tuesday (September 9) after a woman in her 20s reported being raped. Sikh leaders in Coventry have described the incident as 'deeply troubling.'
Cllr Jaswant Birdi, from Bablake, Coventry , said the attack was 'sickening.' He told CoventryLive that he hopes the perpetrators are swiftly brought to justice.
