The Avengers have no shortage of villains, and while many of them are destined to always be defeated yet never to die, there's one who fans thought was gone forever. However, Marvel Comics just proved those fans wrong.

In New Avengers #4, by Sam Humphries and Tiago Palma, the New Avengers are fighting among themselves after Namor is possessed by an evil clone of himself. The entire Illuminati were cloned, creating evil versions of the original heroes. Namor got possessed by his, but that wasn't the only threat.

Another clone was an evil version of Iron Man known as Iron Apex. In New Avengers #2, Iron Apex was seemingly killed by Namor, as his corpse was shown sinking to the bottom of the ocean. However, this issue reveals that Iron Apex isn't dead after all .
