A fresh batch of celebrities are set to take to the Strictly Come Dancing dance floor this month, with the 2025 series kicking off on BBC One on Saturday, 20 September.

The programme is due to welcome 12 famous faces, one of which is former professional football player Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, best-known for playing for Chelsea and Leeds United .

The 53-year-old has said he'd excited to take on a "new challenge" on Strictly, which marks his first reality televison venture.
