MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A Memphis father is in custody after pointing a gun at students his son had gotten in a fight with, police say.

Darius Bruce, 30, was charged with five counts of aggravated assault and carrying a weapon on school property.

On September 10 at 3:40 p.m., officers responded to an aggravated assault call at Kingsbury High School that involved multiple students fighting.

When police arrived, they were shown surveillance video of Bruce pointing a gun at several students.

A school staff member told investigators that multiple students were fighting with Bruce's son, which resulted in him walking up to the fight, grabbing his son and bringing him to his vehicle.
