VINELAND — The city’s police chief is the winner again in another long administrative law battle with City Hall, but his enforced absence from work remains because of another disciplinary case.
Members of the New Jersey Civil Service Commission on Sept. 10 ordered Chief Rudy Beu be reinstated to his office, while also awarding back pay and benefits, as well as restoration of lost seniority. He's also entitled under the order to money to cover his legal expenses — an amount still to be determined.
