BULLHEAD CITY — The Mohave High School girls volleyball team had not won a set this year through five matches, but secured its first win of the season, beating Yuma High School Monday night.

“We are working on rebuilding an entire program and kind of working from scratch," head coach Veronica King said. “We are building that foundation, and trying to get them to play as a team. I think they played great tonight, and we have a lot of ways to improve. They are showing progress every match, and I am super proud of them." ×
