MAIDSONVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The Madisonville Police Department is asking the public for help finding a vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run on Tuesday night.

According to the department, the crash happened on Oak Grove Road near Lincoln Drive around 11:30 p.m. on September 16. A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and later died from their injuries.

Anyone who has information related to the incident, "no matter how small," is asked to contact the MPD at 423-442-2268 or non-emergency dispatch at 423-442-4357.

At this time, MPD said there is no information about the vehicle involved in the crash.
