A new Pret A Manger is set to open in Edinburgh's St James Quarter with locals all saying the same thing.

Several clips shared on social media show preparations being carried out for the new coffee shop within the busy shopping centre.

We reported in May plans were filed for a new Pret A Manger in St James Quarter at 335 St James Crescent, formerly the Peloton showroom.

This will be the cafe chain's 11th location in the capital, joining the ranks of its existing outlets on Lothian Road, Princes Street, and North Bridge, among others.

With an opening date yet to be announced, many fans of the coffee shop have expressed their excitement over the opening.

One person said: "Spotted in St James Quarter, new Pret location unlocked. Exciting for the Pret girlies."
