Robert Redford was more than just a legendary actor — he was also a beloved grandfather.

Redford’s grandchildren reacted to his death at age 89 on Tuesday with heartfelt Instagram tributes that featured never-before-seen family photos.

Conor Schlosser, the son of Redford’s eldest daughter, Shauna Redford, posted five photos with the “Barefoot in the Park” star, including two throwback pictures from Conor’s childhood of the pair riding a horse and playing golf. 13

The 33-year-old also shared two more recent pictures with Redford, one of which showed them smiling at a dinner table.
