ORCHARD PARK - As expected, Buffalo Bills coach Sean McDermott declared that defensive tackle Ed Oliver and linebacker Matt Milano will not play Thursday night against the Miami Dolphins .

Oliver suffered an ankle injury in practice eight days ago and missed the Jets game, and he was seen still in a walking boot on Tuesday. Milano suffered a pectoral muscle injury against New York and did not play in the second half.

McDermott has not divulged timelines for either player, but with 10 days between the Miami game and Buffalo’s Week 4 host of the New Orleans Saints on Sept. 28, he doesn’t have to at this early stage.
