HAMPTON, Va. — Three people were involved with a September 9 shooting in Hampton that left two teenagers injured, according to the Hampton Police Division and court documents.

Cpl. Shaun Stalnaker said Wednesday that officers arrested Vanity Henderson, 38, and her son, Mahaun Barnes-Henderson, 18, both of Hampton.

Barnes-Henderson is charged with three counts of Attempted Maiming and one count each of Maiming, Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony, Discharging a Firearm within 1,000 feet of a School, and Brandishing.

Henderson is charged with one count each of Assault by Mob and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.

A 16-year-old girl is also charged in connection with the incident, according to court documents. Police said she is charged with one count of Assault by Mob.
