FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School was placed into lockdown Wednesday morning due to reports of a threat, according to the Fall River Police Department.

The lockdown was precautionary, according to Fall River police, and their investigation concluded that there was no threat to Diman or the surrounding community.

The lockdown has since lifted and the campus is secure.

Police are also asking that parents who want to dismiss their children from the school be patient as the process is being done in “a systematic safe manner.”

Massachusetts State Police also assisted in the investigation of the reported threat.
