PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A police situation got underway at the headquarters of Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point on Wednesday morning.

Phoenix Police said officers were called to reports of a suspicious bag at the Turning Point USA headquarters near 48th Street and Baseline Road.

The bomb squad responded to the location to investigate the bag out of caution. Police said it is believed that there is no threat to the public.

The area of the headquarters was cleared as the bomb squad investigates.

A massive amount of mourners have come to the Turning Point HQ to pay their respects since Kirk was assassinated at an event last week at Utah Valley University.
