Grand Companions has scheduled pet adoption events in Midland and Odessa.

On Saturday, September 20, Grand Companions will be at Midland Downtown Farmers Market, 404 N Colorado St., Midland, from 8 a.m. to noon. There will be great local vendors, and some adoptable pets from Grand Companions.

Kids Read to Rescue Dogs is scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, September 20. This event’s purpose is to help kids of all ages build confidence in reading to an audience that is ready to hear. Grand Companions will bring a small selection of dogs to the Visitors Center courtyard, allowing children of all ages to read to them.
