New York Jets quarterback Justin Fields has been ruled out for Sunday's (September 21) game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers due to a concussion, head coach Aaron Glenn confirmed to reporters prior to Wednesday's (September 17) practice.
Glenn had previously confirmed that Fields was in concussion protocol after exiting in the fourth quarter of Sunday's (September 14) loss to the AFC East Division rival Buffalo Bills.
"He's in the protocol right now and it's always a hard one to really just try to evaluate until we get more information so I'm sure I'll be giving you guys more information as the week progresses," Glenn said in a clip shared by the Jets' official X account from his press conference on Monday (September 15).
