A new Angus Reid poll says concerns about unemployment has skyrocketed among young Canadians with 37% worried they or someone in their household may lose a job due to economic conditions.
That figure is double the proportion who said the same last December (18%) and up nine points since June (28%).
Angus Reid says young adults endured one of the weakest summer job markets since 2010, excluding the pandemic years, with youth unemployment the key concern in June and July.
