NEW YORK (PIX11) — Golf's most iconic moments are made during major championships.
Ahead of the 2025 Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black Golf Course, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul announced three major championships coming to the Big Apple in the next 10 years.
In 2033, Bethpage Black will host the PGA Championship for the first time since 2019. In the spring of 2028, the KPMG Women's PGA Championship will be there as well.
In 2035, Rochester's Oak Hill Country Club will host its fifth PGA Championship, Hochul announced Wednesday.
“New York State is further establishing its reputation as one of the best golf destinations in the world by welcoming the PGA of America for this marquee lineup of elite golf competition,” Hochul said.
