A 22-year-old Cambridge man is one two motorcyclists arrested after police said they were racing through Guelph.
Guelph police said officers were patrolling on Stone Road West Tuesday at about 6:20 p.m. when they saw two motorcycles travelling “at an excessive speed” and appeared to be racing.
The officers followed the pair southbound on the Hanlon Expressway until they stopped at a red light. An officer got out of his cruiser and was able to hold the brake lever on one of the bikes.
Police said both motorcycles had their rear licence plates attached to hinges, allowing the plates to be tucked under the bodywork so they would not be visible from the rear.
The Cambridge man and a 20-year-old Woodbridge woman were charged with stunt driving and driving with obstructed licence plates. Bot
