WASHINGTON — A boy allegedly crashed a stolen car into a U.S. Marshal Service vehicle, U.S. Park Police announced Wednesday morning.
The boy, along with an adult passenger, were arrested after reportedly refusing to pull over for Park Police officers. Federal police said the two were driving in a stolen car with a phony license plate.
The car reportedly fled U.S. Park Police smashing into a Marshal Service vehicle. The boy was taken to the hospital with a leg injury after the crash. The adult man was evaluated on scene, according to law enforcement.
The crash was first reported by the Metropolitan Police Department's traffic division at around 11 a.m. in the 3000 block of Central Avenue Northeast. Traffic was blocked in both directions at the nearby 2900 block of Central Avenue.
