While there wasn't much light shed on the details of the investigation into the death of Demartravion "Trey" Reed at Delta State University, President Dan Ennis led an emotionally charged discussion at a press conference Wednesday, Sept. 16, in Cleveland.

Reed was found hanging from a tree on campus on Monday, Sept. 15. The Bolivar County Coroner has ruled the death of the Black man from Grenada to be suicide.

The DSU hanging was one of two hangings in Mississippi on Sept. 15.

Ennis was asked about accusations by some family members that they have not been contacted by the university in regard to details about Reed's death and the investigation into it.
