Colin Farrell is hot for Margot Robbie .

But not in the way you’d think. The Banshees of Inisherin star recently shared why he agreed to sign on to working with the Barbie alum in the romantic drama A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, which hits theaters Sept. 19.

“I’d met people through the years who’d worked with Margot , both actresses, and actors and crew members,” Colin explained during their joint appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers Sept. 16. “And they all— the men and women—said how extraordinary she was.”

And while the 49-year-old noted it was already “obvious” to him that Margot was good at her job, he heard “how kind, and how fun and how one of the team she is.”
