BOISE, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — As fall settles in, Idaho concludes the 100 Deadliest Days with a slight increase in fatal crashes compared to last year.
During the 100 Deadliest Days of 2025 , more people travel and celebrate, leading the rise of dangerous driving. This year , 88 people were killed, up from last year’s 82, according to data from the Idaho State Office of Safety (OHS) in conjunction with a release by the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD).
ITD and OHS are gathering data and working to change the direction of deaths. Driver’s education statewide is a goal to help address the situation, as well as implementing outreach programs for communities to encourage drivers to make smarter choices.
