FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Most of the summer has followed the same trend, and this week is no different. Sunny, hot, and dry conditions continue for the rest of the work week. Temperatures will stay in the mid 80s as well.
A cold front arrives this weekend that will bring a few changes to the area. Temperatures cool into the low 80s by the end of the weekend, that will still mean temperatures are about 5 degrees above average even with the cool down. Along with cooler temperatures, rain showers are possible from Sunday through Tuesday. This could have an impact on the Johnny Appleseed Festival this weekend, so keep an eye on the radar if you have any outdoor plans Sunday.
