LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are searching for a man who was involved in an assault at a north Lincoln bar last month.
It happened around 11 p.m. on August 16 at the La Cabana bar near 32nd Street and Cornhusker Highway.
Two men had gotten into three separate fights over two hours, according to police.
The men started by getting into a fist fight before being broken up by security.
In a second scuffle, one of the men waved a 2×4 with rusty nails sticking out of it at the victim, police said. Security had to tackle the man to stop him.
The man then hit the victim in the head with a tire jack “several times,” knocking him unconscious, according to police.
Bystanders helped the victim until paramedics arrived and took him to the hospital, police said.
