BELCHERTOWN — A woman from Ware died Tuesday afternoon after her car collided with a UPS truck on the side of Route 9, the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office said Wednesday.

Around 1 p.m., the woman, 48, drove her car into the delivery truck, which was parked outside a home at 300 Ware Road, the DA’s Office said in a statement.

An ambulance took her to Baystate Wing Medical Center in Palmer, where she was pronounced dead.
