HENRY CO., Iowa (KWQC) - The Henry County Iowa Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to secure vehicles and doors and call 911 if the inmate is spotted.

An inmate at the Mount Pleasant Correctional Facility walked away, deputies said Wednesday.

A 50-year-old 5-foot-5 white man wearing a lighter blue shirt and blue jeans walked away from the correctional facility, deputies said.
