Pakistan and Palestine have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in the health sector, officials confirmed on Wednesday.

The agreement was signed by Health Minister Mustafa Kamal and the Palestinian Ambassador at a ceremony attended by senior health officials, including Health Secretary Hamid Yaqoob, Additional Health Secretary and the Director General Health.

Kamal announced that a Pakistan-Palestine Health Working Group will be established within the next 30 days to oversee the implementation of the agreement and guide practical collaboration.

He said the focus of cooperation would include advanced medical fields such as interventional cardiology, organ transplant, orthopaedic surgery, endoscopic ultrasound, and burn and plastic surge
