PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The fall 2025 Rod Run in Pigeon Forge saw officers respond to more than 1,000 calls for service, according to data from the Pigeon Forge Police Department.
That data showed that Pigeon Forge and Tennessee Highway Patrol officers responded to 1,027 calls from Sept. 11 to Sept. 15.
Breaking the data down further, officers issued 702 citations, made 96 arrests and responded to 33 crashes.
The twice-yearly event is known to be a bit of a workout for Pigeon Forge law enforcement, with it not being uncommon for officers to respond to quadruple-digit incidents.
