In a social media post on Wednesday, U.S. Bank Stadium appears to tease Ed Sheeran's return to Minneapolis.

The post simply says, "09.18.25," presumably the date of an upcoming tour announcement.

The message is accompanied by a pink-hued video featuring a cassette and lyrics to songs from Sheeran's just-released eighth studio album, Play, which has a similarly pink cover.

Sheeran is no stranger to the Vikings' home field, performing there in both 2023 and 2018.

In 2023, he set the stadium's attendance record with 72,102 fans heading to downtown Minneapolis to watch him play in-the-round. The night before that show, he played a more intimate gig at the 2,200-seat State Theatre.
