DES MOINES, Iowa -- Parts of Iowa have received heavy rainfall over the past 30 hours or so, as shown below. The heaviest fell around Ft. Dodge, Manson and Guthrie Center. More rain is on the way, and the weather timeline below takes you through temperatures and those chances.

Lows Wednesday night stay mild. An upper-level area of low pressure will wander very slowly across our area through Saturday. Another disturbance will then rotate in from the northwest and give us continued storm chances. We will continue to see rounds of rain, followed by (possibly long) breaks, all the way into Sunday in your outlook.

It's possible we'll see continued heavy rain accumulations in spots. Notice the air stays fairly humid through at least Tuesday.
