CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WV News) — A former cook supervisor at FCI Hazelton who admitted to engaging in sex acts with an inmate has been probated for three years.

Chief U.S. District Judge Thomas S. Kleeh imposed that sentence Wednesday on Christina R. Arillo.

The sides previously stipulated the crime occurred in October 2022 at the prison complex.

Also on Wednesday, Kleeh sentenced Mexican national Apolinar Armando Lopez-Gutierrez, 38, to time served for reentering the United States after being deported.

The court also imposed a year's supervised release.

According to court documents and statements made in court, a stabbing investigation in Tennessee led officials to Lopez-Gutierrez, who was believed to be friends with the stabbing suspect. Lopez-Gutierrez was found living and working in
