Harvey Elliott needed just two outings to find the net following his departure from Liverpool. The midfielder secured a deadline day loan switch to Aston Villa, with the club committed to completing a permanent £35 million deal during the upcoming summer window.

Elliott emerged from the international break to make his bow for the Premier League outfit when they faced Everton at the weekend. A second outing quickly materialised on Tuesday night as Villa tackled Brentford in the Carabao Cup's third round .

The 22 year old prospect found the back of the net with a cleverly executed effort moments before the interval. John McGinn robbed an opposing defender, allowing his fresh teammate to pounce on the wayward ball and guide a finish past Brentford shot-stopper Hakon Valdimarsson.
