HOUSTON (CW39) — The Houston Energy Women’s Football Team is inviting athletes from across the area to try out for a spot on the roster later this month.

The tryouts will be held on Saturday, September 28, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 11049 Memorial Hermann Drive. Team leaders said on social media that all skill levels are welcome — whether participants are experienced players or brand new to the sport.

The Energy, a women’s tackle football team with a history of championship wins, said that the event is about more than building a team — it’s about growing the sport and inspiring the next generation of players. "Let's fuel the future and unleash our power on the field together," the team posted on Facebook.
