Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel has joined a multi-state coalition looking to block the Trump Administration’s deployment of National Guard troops in Washington, D.C.
Nessel filed a brief in support of D.C. Attorney General Brian Schwalb’s lawsuit challenging the recent troop deployment there.

He also has threatened to send troops to other cities, including Chicago and Memphis.
