BATES CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A Missouri man who is believed to have left two large dogs in a hot truck overnight has been called to court.
Lafayette County, Missouri, Circuit Court records filed on Thursday, Sept. 11, indicate that Martin R. Burrow, 72, of Bates City, has been charged with two counts of animal abuse.
A probable cause statement filed by the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office revealed that around 10:20 a.m. on July 16, law enforcement officials were called to an area home with reports of two deceased dogs.
