The cast of "Hamilton" reunited a decade after the start of their original Broadway run to celebrate the legendary show at the Delacorte Theater. Only they weren't there to take the stage.

The famed cast instead sat in the crowd with fellow theatergoers to watch the official filmed version of their performance, which hit movie theaters for the first time on Sept. 5.

Outside the Public Theater's open-air amphitheater, the home of Shakespeare in the Park, the red carpet was rolled out for the premiere of the five-year-old film. The footage from the theatrical release was filmed in 2016 and released on Disney+ in 2020.
