A social media trend encouraging individuals to urinate in various public places has reportedly made its way into Connecticut.

The nationwide trend has led to multiple complaints in Bristol where the police department asked the public in a Facebook post over the weekend for help identifying individuals who were believed to potentially be involved. The post was later revised to indicate police had made contact with the individuals they were seeking. The photos were also removed.

“Our department is aware of a nationwide trend of people claiming to be urinating in public places,” the department wrote. “We are currently investigating similar complaints in our city.”

As of Wednesday afternoon, the post had garnered nearly 200 reactions, 175 comments and more than two dozen shares.
