PHILADELPHIA − The Eagles got a key player back as they returned to practice on Sept. 17, three days after their hard-fought 20-17 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Tight end Dallas Goedert was back at practice after missing all three sessions last week, and the game against the Chiefs, because of a knee injury.

It's not known yet if Goedert was a full or limited participant in practice. But it's clearly good news as the Eagles begin their preparations for the Los Angeles Rams on Sept. 21 at Lincoln Financial Field. Buy Philadelphia Eagles tickets

But running back Will Shipley, another player who didn't practice or play last week, did not return to practice. Against the Chiefs, Shipley was replaced as a kick returner by Tank Bigsby, acquired on Sept. 8 from Jacksonville. A.J. Dil
