Two brothers from East Orange were charged after an investigation in which 200 bricks of heroin were seized from a multimillion-dollar heroin mill in New York City, authorities said.

The Essex County Sheriff’s Office led the investigation and identified Shaheed Darling and Alhaqqah Darling as the primary operators of a narcotics pipeline that stretched from Essex County to The Bronx, the office said in a statement.

The pair directed heroin trafficking activity from their East Orange home, officials said.

Investigators determined that a third man, Aziz Khwaja of Saddle Brook, transported narcotics from a processing location in The Bronx, the office said.
