ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WSPA) -- People were asked to avoid roads in Asheville after a fire was reported at a scrap yard on Wednesday.

Firefighters with the Asheville Fire Department (AFD) said they arrived at a scrap yard behind Mountain Metal Recycling just before 2 p.m. for a fully involved fire.
