The Lee Williams flag football team got the 2025 season off to a good start on Tuesday against Barry Goldwater - cruising to a 30-7 win in Kingman.
The Volunteers got the ball to start the game and gradually made their way into Bulldog territory. On a fourth down, Lee Williams got its first touchdown of the year with a little trickery when Ellie Divis handed the ball off to Baleigh Crook on a reverse, and Crook walked into the endzone untouched. With 3:39 left in the first quarter the Volunteers led 6-0 after Divis’s PAT attempt bounced off the right side of the goal post.
