New England Patriots running back Antonio Gibson accomplished something for the first time in his six-year career on Wednesday, while also snapping a nearly three-year drought for the franchise as well.
The veteran dual-threat earned AFC Special Teams Player of the Week honors on Wednesday following his 90-yard kickoff return for a touchdown on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.
Gibson finished the victory with six kick returns for 171 yards while adding five carries for 27 yards and a one-yard reception as well.
