LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — On Wednesday, staff at the Little Rock Zoo announced the passing of one of their beloved Boer goats.

According to staff, the goat, named Bravo, began to struggle with standing up, which required him to be hospitalized. Throughout his hospitalization, Bravo showed little improvement despite having been receiving direct care and monitoring from the veterinary staff as well as zoo staff.

During Bravo's last exam, his medical team determined that due to a lack of response to treatment, his not being able to stand, and his condition no longer allowed him to live a happy and healthy quality of life.

Therefore, they made the difficult decision to euthanize Bravo, knowing that it was the best option for him. Staff say that he passed peacefully, surrounded by many members of
