CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA) — A woman has been charged with first-degree murder nearly a month after her significant other was found shot dead in a Clearwater apartment, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said.

The shooting happened around 1 a.m. on Aug. 19 at an apartment on Illinois Road, according to authorities. Deputies said they responded to the apartment after receiving a 911 call from someone reporting a disturbance.

The caller told dispatchers they heard a loud noise and a woman say, "I have a gun."

Amanda Tenney, 38, was at the apartment when deputies arrived. Deputies reported seeing blood on Tenney's legs and said they discovered multiple bloody footprints inside the home.
